Hey, the one and only reader of my blog (thanks dude! :) ), sent me a message via BlogCatalog so I'll answer you here man. I didn't get any articles accepted to EZA yet, I only submitted 3 articles so far and I'm waiting for them to approve (which takes ages). You are probably right that I should just submit them all one after the other ('cause I have like 50 ready made articles) but I have a bad opinion of EZA since they already rejected some of my articles earlier becaus they were too "vulgar" (I'm in a sex-education niche, and some directories just don't want to accept real stuff).
Good to know that someone is reading.
By the way, the article project thing - too bad I wasn't consistent. But I'll give it another try with 5 articles a day, in a period of 3 months, which is more realistic. The moment I got a bit discouraged is once I realized that globally, the least traffic I get is from articles, and that's where I invest most of my time the last couple of months. If you get what I mean.
Anyway, good look and keep on pushing. Eventually we'll get there. If a bunch of idiots can, so can I, or you, or anyone else reading this bluff I'm shitting out on this blog :),

Well Crap
Crap. I'm sorry to say that I stopped after 20 articles, that's not cool. I didn't write anything for two days, but now I have tomorrow, the day after and Sunday to catch up on those 20 articles I'm missing. I guess than tomorrow will be the "big writing day" - I'm gonna write (or at least try to) write 30 articles, but I won't submit them at once. Maybe I can submit 15 tomorrow, 15 the day after and 15 the third day, and then the next day over there 15 again, then I'll be back even just as I was supposed to - on schedule. I'll just write 30 tomorrow, and then 10 each day after that, I'll just be submitting 5 article more than usual.
Okay, anyway - I've found one more article directory that might be useful, actually two.
One is www.easyarticles.com and the other one is www.sooperarticles.com. So later I'll submit to EZA, eHow, Easyarticles, Goarticles, ArticlesBase and a few others, I'll have to see. Anyway, there's this one chick who's my competition and she's been banging on it for some time, but I'm in the game longer, so she's still not a match, but she's building her way up. I'll destroy her and all possible competition with these 300 or more articles on ArticlesBase, then copy them to EZA and the other 5-6 directories... write another 30-50 articles, submit them everywhere. And there you go - 2000 articles all together. That should do the trick. Over 4000 visitors per day on the sales page, plus paid advertising, plus organic search engine traffic, plus other sources - that's over 5000 visitors per day - holy shit. That's a lot.
I can do it. I CAN do it.

Day 2 of Article Marketing Project
Everything is going great - I'm already getting nice traffic from the first 20 articles. Only 280 left for this month. I'm very satisfied. Till the end of this "little" 3 month article marketing project - I should have around 2000 of my articles scattered around the internet on 5 article directories. Some will get ranked, some won't. Whatever. However you look at it - it may be very useful.
Let's say the average article has 20 views per day, some have more, some have less. That's 40 000 views per day - that's a lot. At a 10-15% CTR - I would have 5000 visitors per day on my sales page - that is INCREDIBLE. I can't wait for the results. So far 1% is finished :)

A Journey of a Thousand Miles Begines with A Single Step
Well, as I wrote yesterday, today I started my article marketing project. I woke up at 6 am, and started typing 20 minutes later, around 9 am I had 10 brand new articles on ArticleesBase. I'm pretty sure I'll be a lot faster tomorrow.
Basically, as I've said, I started this "article marketing project" in which I work 3 months, every day, from 6h15 am to 8h15, unfortunately today I was a bit longer, since I wanted to finish the ten articles. It wasn't hard at all. It's interesting that people have these barriers... first I thought "10 articles a day? Impossible! That's just too much", "Maybe 2 articles a day... that I could manage". Now that I tried ten - it's not hard at all. It's possible. You can actually write 10 (300-400) word articles in under two hours if you know what you are writing about. I'm going to finish this project. I'm sure about that. I made it my thing and I'll do it. 3 months straight. It's not going to be easy - but I'm pretty sure that 3 months from now, I'll be sitting here typing how I'm a genius and proud of myself for doing it.
Here's the "math".
10 articles per day, 30 days. That's 300 articles. Next month, put these articles on 4 other directories, that's another 1200 articles in the second month. Third month, write another 30 articles that are longer, put them on EZA first, then copy them to 4 other directories. That's 1650 articles all together.
Some will get ranked well, some won't In the second month I'll write 1 short article a day for articlesbase, in the end that's another 150 articles. That's 1800 articles all together.
As I've said, some will get ranked higher, some wont. Some will bring 20 people a day to my sales page, some only 1 or 2, some none. Some might bring 50. Let's say there's an average of 1.5 visitors sent to my website per article. That's over 2500 visitors per day. That's amazing. Plus organic traffic from my natural page rank - that would be far over 3000 visitors per day on my sales page. If my product converts at 1:300 - but it will probably be better than that, I would be making 10 sales per day - which basically means a lot of fucking money. Can't wait for the results. I'm already excited about the results these first 10 articles will produce.
Can you imagine after 3 months?
Just as an idea - I mean, if you can write 10 articles in 2 hours, how about working 6 hours a day? Not straight, but 2hours, then a brake, then 2 hours again, then a brake and then 2 hours the last time. That would be 30 articles in one day. That's A LOT - it sounds kind of insane. You would probably go nuts after 30 articles, but what the hell, why not give it a try. Maybe you can even do it in like 4 and a half hours. In only 10 days you would have 300 articles. Okay :) No more experimenting. I'm doing this stuff till the end and we'll see the results in 3 months from today.

Article Marketing Project
Hey all,
After reading this post on the Warrior Forum I decided to copy his method and make money with it through brining more traffic to my sales page. At least I'm working for myself so I know where I'm at. The plan is plain and simple. It lasts 2 months. I start tomorrow morning at 6h15 am until 8h15. I'll be doing that every day for 2 months straight.
I'll write 10 short (300-400 words) article in those 2 hours and submit them to ArticlesBase. My favorite article directory. I won't do too much keyword research, only if I have time left in those 2 hours. I should be able to write a medium quality article in 7 minutes. But I guess over time I'll be more efficient.
After one month of writing like this, I'll have 300 articles on ArticlesBase. That's month number one. Month number 2, I'll still get up every day at 6am and start writing 15 minutes later, eating cornflakes and writing.
During month #2, since I'll save all my articles into little notepad files, I'll focus on distributing these articles and making mini-changes in them. I'll submit to EzineArticles, eHow, GoArticles and ArticleAlley or ArticleDashboard (not sure yet but I'll decide). Anyway, that's 4 directories I'll submit to every day, 10 articles to each directory. 3 minutes per article I submit, 40 articles in 2 hours? It's possible. Since I'll be doing it that early, I'll hardly notice I did it, and after 2 hours of writing in the morning, I'll be completely awake and sharp for the rest of the day.
4 more places with 300 articles. After 2 months of working 2 hours a day, every day, from 6h15 am to 8h15 am every morning - I'll have 1500 short articles scattered across the internet. Some will be great, some will be crap, whatever. 1500 articles in 2 months. Some article will bring me 1 visitor a day, some zero, some 20 a day if the article get's ranked well. Some articles will be copied to other people's website and that will bring me even more traffic. Let's say that the average article will bring me 1 visitor a day.
That's 1500 visitors per day on my sales page. If the sales page converts at 1:300, that's 5 sales a day. That's a lot of money. Just to continue the "link juice" from ArticlesBase, every day during the second month, I would write one short (300-400) word article and submit it to ArticlesBase in order to maintain traffic from there.
Maybe I should add a 3rd month? Yes, I will. During the 3rd month, I'll write 2 higher quality 500 plus words article every day and submit it to Ezine Articles - 15 days. Then I'll take those 15 articles and submit them to ArticlesBase, eHow, GoArticles and one other directory. After a month, I'll have 30x5 higher quality articles pointing towards my sales page. I'll also do that in 2 hours per day, from 6h15 to 8h15 am, I'll just probably need less time to write these articles, but then I'll have an hour left to answer emails and research keywords.
After three months - I would have 1650 articles, of which 150 higher quality, longer ones, and 1500 shorter, but sweeter articles all around the internet. Now that is a LOT of articles.
What are the benefits?
Besides getting potentially INCREDIBLE traffic every single day for the next few years probably and never having to write an article again, since I can just rewrite these and submit them to another 5 better directories... besides huge traffic and huge potentiall sales and a higher page rank for my website.
I would also:
- have a great working habit and discipline of focused work
- feel great about myself for being persistent and getting it done
- have a better vocabulary, better typing and writing skills
- help more people around the world with my advice
- I would also wake up at 6 am EVERY day, which would be very very good
- I'd also be fucking rich basically :)
So, to recap. The Article Marketing Project
Month #1
Write 10 (300-400 word) articles per day and submit to ArticlesBase. Save all articles to small notepad files. Work from 6h15 am to 8h15 every single day even if I go to sleep at 3 in the morning.
Month #2
Write 1 (300-400) word article per day, then submit 40 articles per day in those 2 hours, 10 articles per article directory. Don't get lost, keep them organized in notepad files and folders, day1,2,3... etc. Submit articles from 6h15 am to 8h15 am every morning.
Month #3
For 15 days, write 2 articles (500 plus words) per day and submit to EzineArticles first. Then the next half of the month, the 30 articles you have on EzineArticles, submit them to ehow, articlesbase, goarticles and another high quality directory.
Expected result: Around 2000 visitors per day on the sales page. If the book converts at 1:250, that would be 8 sales per day on average, that would mean - well, a lot of cash, what else.
Motivation: Help as many people as possible.
So - even if I don't get the results I expected, so what? I still
a) Learned a lot
b) Helped a lot of people
c) Developed a great work habit and the habit to wake up early and productive every day
However you look at it, it's worth it.
I'm looking forward to the next 3 months. I'll write weekly reports on the blog :) So see you next week, or sooner, whatver. I start tomorrow morning, sharp at 6h15 :)

Achieve Your Goals - Step by Step
Nothing happens overnight. Especially not here with internet marketing. I've been doing this stuff and trying to make money online for almost 8 months now. I feel great. It's been more than worth it. I've launched my first product and it's going great so far - and over time, it will get better.
I see a lot of people over there on the Warrior Forum talking about different subjects and I have a feeling that a lot of people, just like I am sometimes, are too scattered. They're not focused enough. They're trying to make money in all places at once. My philosophy is that once you start something - push it till the end. Focus on it, get the most out of it. Dominate the hell out of that niche. Create clear goals and write down how you plan to achieve these goals. Sooner or later, you'll get there.
As long as you are disciplined, persistent and use your head, you'll get there. For example, there are various ways to driving traffic to your website. Right now I'm more focused on Article Marketing. There are many flaws to it, it's not easy to find a good article directory. Many of them don't work well always, but after some time you can figure out what works to you - then stick with it.
For example, I now made an entire 4 month plan, until February, what I'm going to do in order to finish my work in this niche so I can focus on other things and build this stuff up so well that I can rest after that and just use it as almost completely passive income. Anything is possible.
Here's my plan, in short.
1. Write 1 article per day, 400 plus words, and put it on ArticlesBase.
2. Answer questions on Yahoo Answers and another Q&A website, daily.
3. Submit older articles to other directories, daily.
4. Rewrite articles so they're suitable for EzineArticles (just started submitting there).
That's what I do every day. That's about 1 hour of work per day, which is not much. Then, the next hour, I focus on finding affiliate that will promote my product, reading, learning about internet marketing, answering emails and doing whatever else is needed (some bigger things) to increase sales. After 4 and a half months of writing articles (yes, that's around 150 articles, just on articlesbase, and then submitted everywhere else where they accept my articles), so I'm planning on having over 700 visitors per day from these articles, plus I'll get more expousure and talks about my book, so over time people will repost the articles, articles will get better ranked, I'll have more backlinks so I'll be better ranked on Google and then I can just write 2 articles per week after that just to maintain it.
So, yes - I'll work 2-3 hours a day on my online business the next 4-5 months - but after that, I'll be living the "4 hour work week" dream and I can focus on other projects. The main objective is to help as many people as possible solve their problems.
Good luck,
Jack

Work Hard, Work Smart - and Don't do it for the money
Hey there... well, this blog still doesn't have many readers, since after around 70 posts I still didn't bother to try to gather some traffic, nor did I expect to make any money out of this blog anyway. It's just a place where I can "shake it out" - everything that's in my head, ideas, tips and interesting stuff I've noticed in the world of internet marketing - and a place where YOU might learn something about making it big online.
Well - I'm proud to say that after a bit over 6 - holy shit, it's actually more than that, it's - 8 months of internet marketing. Well, I've been working my ass of - kind of, I've learned a lot. But I'm just starting :) I've made that decision a long time ago that no matter what it takes - I WILL make money online and I WILL become financially free - so I can travel the world and truly enjoy my life with all that money.
The good thing is - I did make some money already, and I have finally launched my first, but not last product. It's been going well and I was very happy, though there is still a lot of work to be done. I'm proud of myself because I was determined to finish what I have started - and a lot of people have trouble with that. Most folks just give up and go back to watching TV all day and ranting about their boring jobs and miserable lives.
Anyway - I'm not one of those losers. I'm a winner. As Rich Jerk would say :), and winners don't even think about quitting. Quitting does not exist in their dictionary. Which is great. Usually when you're just about to quit - you just need to push a little bit further and you'll get there. And once you get there - it's not over. It ain't over till it's over. And in this game of internet marketing - it's not enough to just jump into a market - you need to dominate the hell out of it - until you have enough money (and a good enough product) to pay for advertising. After that - everything kind of goes on autopilot. My goal is - that till February 2010 - a year after I've started internet marketing I a) sell on average 5 books a day (which means freedom), and b) start selling my second product. That is my goal.
It's always important to have goals, and them write down how you are planning on getting there. Of course it's cool if you can stick to one strategy of generating traffic - but don't be too close-minded. There is more than one way to get lot's of traffic - try everything, focus on this a few months, on something else the next few months - after a year? You'll pretty much cover everything, and you'll cover a big market and you'll have thousands of visitors. A day.
Another important thing I wanted to share with my dear - not yet existing readers. But I guess there will be readers in a couple of years when I'm a millionaire - then they'll love reading this little blog trying to figure out how I made it. Anyway - I wanted to talk about a big problem that's easy to fall into.
Couple of months back - when my "busines" was smaller, and I've had less traffic - My goal was to HELP PEOPLE, and DELIVER. People had a problem and I gave my best to solve that problem. And it was great, I felt great, they felt great - and I started getting more traffic. Then, out of nowhere - I somehow changed my attitude, it became a routine. The only thing I was thinking about was the money. So I submitted articles without emotions, just doing it, this amount here, that amount there, copy, paste, copy paste, shit here, shit there - just robotic movements, but no real - passionate work. And that's the problem - once you start focusing on the MONEY and looking at the whole thing as a JOB - you start a) HATING it b) you stop DELIVERING value to your potential customers.
That's when things started to go a little bit downhill. That's when I figured that I'm focusing on the wrong stuff. This - internet marketing - is NOT a regular job and shouldn't be. Keep in mind that HERE - you are "working" for yourself, you are BUILDING your own EMPIRE. Every minute you invest - you are building you OWN temple of success. You are making yourself rich - not your boss or the shareholders of your company. And that's why every minute you invest into growing your own business is 10 times more valuable than working a 9-5 job for someone else and slaving away your time for money.
The moment you start focusing on the money is the moment you'll forget what the fuck you are doing. The system to make money on the internet is simple - People have a problem, SOLVE that problem - and focus on HELPING people. Give your best. When you submit articles - your goal is not to get X amount of traffic that will bring you X amount of sales - your goal is to GET THE HELP YOU ARE OFFERING - TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE. Your goal is for MORE people to read it so MORE people can get HELPED. The money will come by itself - plus, you'll get good karma - and then the traffic will really start coming in. Plus, you'll enjoy it a lot more, and it will be a PLEASURE to "work". So get your mind straight.
See you at the top,
